Plant sale

Don't miss the Plant Sale on Sat May 20th from 10 - 12 noon in the church carpark. As usual the plants will be supplied by Parklea Branching Out. Refreshments will be served in the church hall, so pop in for a coffee, even if you don't need any plants.

Last summer the Welly and Sculpture Garden outside the church was eye catching. Could it be even better this year? Why not come along to the plant sale, buy a few plants, and pot up an old welly. Anyone in the village can take part. Or maybe try your hand at a flower pot sculpture. Bring your finished items along and place them outside the church. The more, the merrier.

Coronation party

Langbank Village Centre Coronation Party!

The Langbank Village hall committee are delighted to announce we have been successful in our grant application to host a village party by Awards for all. The grant for £5000 will enable us to celebrate as a village and also allow the hall to purchase some new tables and other items with the money.

SUNDAY 7th May, 2pm onwards for a traditional Coronation style party until 5pm and then further catering and entertainment to be confirmed from 5pm onwards till 8pm.

This event will be free but is limited by numbers. We are at the early planning stages and we hope to have it outside at the hall. It is open to all villagers

As we have only just received the good news we need your help! Can you offer help setting up / clearing away? Helping on the day? Message myself or Judy Henderson to book a place at the Afternoon Tea!

More details when available.

MUGA opening

Just a wee reminder that the new MUGA will officially open this Saturday so please drop in between 4pm and 6pm. Nothing fancy so black tie and evening gown not required. Just an opportunity to find out a bit more about the MUGA, provide some feedback and have your say on how things are taken forward. It is hoped many villagers will be able to pop in.
