A family home in Langbank has been burnt to the ground after deliberately being set alight.
The detached house on Dennistoun Road was targeted on Sunday, January 22 at 10.30pm. A shed in the back garden was set on fire which then spread to house and completely destroyed it.

Detective inspector Sandy Nelson is appealing for anyone with information to come forward. He said: “The house has been completely gutted by the fire. “We do not have any suspects at the moment and are currently carrying out door-to-door enquiries.

“Accelerant may have been used on the shed which caused it to burn however this has still to be confirmed.“No one was trapped in the house at the time and there were no injuries as a result of the incident.”
