Fire Chief to meet with Langbank residents

After the very extensive recent house fire on Dennistoun Road. Langbank Community Council have been approached by many villagers who have asked how prepared we are within the village should any of us be faced with a similar event.

To that end, we have asked Kevin Hughes, the Regional Officer for the Scottish Fire Brigade, to attend our next community council meeting and provide us with an update of the service which we could expect from the Fire Service, the location of your nearest Fire Hydrant and access to our properties. He has kindly accepted to come along and provide us with a status and answer any questions that we may have.

The next meeting of Langbank Community Council will be on Wednesday 8th February 2017 in Langbank Parish Church Hall at 7.30pm.
