Secretary’s Report:

Nothing additional to add to Chairman’s report, and thanks were extended to the chairman for his work on behalf of theCommunity Council.

Treasurer’s Report:

The treasurer, Gloria Dunn, presented the attached annual financial accounts and highlighted the main points.

However a question was asked about the Langbank Website funding and whether it is worthwhile continuing to have a village website.  Agreement to ask Renfrewshire Councilwhether they believe it is desirable for CCs to have a website, and If so, then we should request an additional budget as the website fees take a more considerable portion of our administration budget.

It is believed that the administration funds are allocated pro-rata based on population, which doesn’t take into consideration that website fees would be the same regardless of population size.

We can also monitor the photocopying and printing and see whether we can reduce these costs.

All accepted that these accounts as accurate and thanks were extended to Gloria Dunn for her hard and diligent work.
